The object of the study is to develop the Final Study for the construction of the Maranura Bridge and Accesses, based on the Second Phase Bypass of the Alfamayo - Chaullay - Quillabamba section between Kms 126 +960 - Km 128 +619 of the B PE-28 National Road Network in Maranura District, La Convención Province in the Region of Cusco.

SCOPE OF THE WORKS

The Maranura Bridge is located over the Vilcanota River, an affluent of the Urubamba River on the road between Cusco and Quillabamba, in the surroundings of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Monument within the Alfamayo-of-Quillabamba Chaullay section, National Highway PE-28B. This action will promote improved communication in the capital of the region with the forest area.

The project provides an access of 1.5 km in the vicinity of the town of Maranura and establishes a metal arch bridge measuring 190 meters to replace the current Mabey Compact temporary bridge measuring 39,624 m.
