CPS develops<\/span><\/b> the strategic plan for the drafting and execution of the <\/span>“Plan of traffic gauging for the Road Network of the Autonomous Community of Navarre” during the period of<\/span><\/b> during the period <\/span>2025-2028<\/span><\/b><\/span>. The main objective of this action is to collect, process and elaborate detailed information on the intensity and characteristics of traffic in the region<\/span>. Through an exhaustive programming of field work, CPS provides the necessary data to know the behavior of the different types of vehicles circulating on the network, solving the need for a reliable statistical basis for infrastructure planning and maintenance<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The tasks include the comprehensive planning and deployment of field work through a methodology that combines the management of permanent stations, which operate 24 hours a year, with the execution of gauging in semi-permanent, primary and coverage stations.<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

This work includes preventive and corrective maintenance of traditional gauging equipment (ADR-1000 type and similar) and the integration of advanced data from portable radars and video surveillance systems managed from the Road Maintenance Control Center.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span> <\/p>

In addition, the technical team performs supplementary local studies through manual counts and origin-destination analysis to solve specific traffic needs at intersections and junctions in the network.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

In the office phase, the action is focused on the massive treatment of the information by means of specialized software for the purification, reconstruction and calculation of the Average Daily Intensity (ADI), differentiating up to four types of vehicles according to their length.<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>
