The structuring of Paraguay’s National Road Safety Plan 2030 was developed through a process that began with the review of the National Road Safety Plan 2013-2018 document, in order to learn about the background of the country’s road safety situation, the actions proposed in said plan, its evolution, the progress achieved to date, the participation of the different public and private bodies in the development of the strategies and to determine the aspects to be prioritized.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Road Safety Plan 2030 incorporates the guidelines of Vision Zero as a relevant approach to improve road safety in Paraguay, considering that it is based on a principle of shared responsibility between those who make up the transportation system and those who use it: co-responsibility between the government and citizens, raising awareness in society and participation of the private sector in a common effort to avoid risky driving behavior and to contribute to the improvement of coexistence on the streets. Efforts must be coordinated among the institutions whose mission is related to road safety and integrate the public, private and civil society sectors, led by the National Traffic and Road Safety Agency, also guaranteeing the optimization of human, technical and financial resources to generate actions at national, regional and local levels.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
