The Convent of San Agust\u00edn, founded in the 16th century and located in the historic center of M\u00e1laga, will be refurbished and restored to house the city’s new State Public Library. The future library will have a floor area of 5,345m\u00b2 and two entrances: a private entrance from San Agust\u00edn Street (internal management, administration and library services) and a public entrance from Pedro de Toledo Street for all users.<\/p>\n

The project will have to pay special attention to the design of the installations and their passageways between floors, since most of the ceilings and walls are protected due to their uniqueness.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Lighting.<\/li>\n
  • Separate sewage system.<\/li>\n
  • Supply of drinking water and domestic hot water (DHW).<\/li>\n
  • Air conditioning and ventilation, with special emphasis on the solution to be considered in the central cloister area.<\/li>\n
  • Fire protection: detection and extinction.<\/li>\n
  • Telecommunications installation.<\/li>\n
