The SUMP seeks to promote non-motorized means of transportation and the use of public transportation, reducing the use of private vehicles. It also seeks economic growth, social cohesion, road safety and environmental protection. The measures are expected to be implemented in the short, medium and long term.<\/p>\n\n<p>The plan covers the <strong>18 municipalities <\/strong>of the metropolitan area of Granada, highlighting the capital as the main focus of travel attraction.
