CPS received support from COFIDES for expansion to Gothenburg, Sweden,<\/strong> through a co-investment loan from the Fund for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Investment Operations (FONPYME).<\/p>\n\n

With this operation, CPS strengthens its internationalization strategy <\/strong>and takes its first steps in the Swedish market, where it already has its first contracts with Public Administrations and now a subsidiary in Gothenburg, which demonstrates its commitment to a market with enormous potential, backed by the National Transport Infrastructure Plan 2022-2033, which contemplates a historic investment of 876 billion Swedish kronor.<\/p>\n\n

The company already has a track record of more than 15 years in the international market, especially focused on projects in Latin America and North Africa.<\/p>\n\n

The director of COFIDES’ Investment Department, Miguel \u00c1ngel Ladero, pointed out that “this operation will not only contribute to accelerating the internationalization process of CPS, but will also generate additional effects in the field of innovation, sustainability and competitiveness of the Spanish engineering sector by supporting the trajectory of an SME that has made a firm commitment to R&D&I and environmental aspects to meet urban, sustainable transport and energy efficiency challenges<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n

Gonzalo L\u00f3pez Beltr\u00e1n, <\/strong>CEO of CPS, has pointed out that “the Swedish market represents a strategic opportunity for CPS. Sweden leads Europe in sustainable mobility and intelligent transportation systems, and it is precisely in this field where our experience is strongest. For more than three decades we have been developing solutions that combine technical rigor, innovation and sustainability, and we are convinced that we can bring real value to a market as demanding and advanced as the Swedish market. <\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n
