Requena Municipal Urban Plan of Action
CPS has developed the Requena PUAM, a local strategic document that should describe the municipality’s lines of action for the next decade, with the aim of incorporating the objectives established by the 2030 Agenda and the future priorities regarding works and services in the municipal urban agenda. All of this must serve to advance in the design of a more livable, fair, inclusive, healthy, intelligent and sustainable municipality.
The Requena PUAM has been developed in 4 phases, where the points described below were developed:
The Requena PUAM is conceived as a document with a transformative vocation for municipal spaces and areas and aims to activate, for its development, the processes of participation, debate and dialogue between citizens and social agents in order to specify a municipal design for the future, as a result of reflection and collective action.
For this collective reflection, two face-to-face workshops for citizen participation were held and an online survey was carried out, in which the entire population of the municipality was given a voice to express their concerns and ideas about the Plan.
