Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Operation

Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Operation

CPS provides maintenance services for traffic control equipment and support for the operation of the management systems installed in the eight Traffic Management Centers of the General Traffic Directorate.

The project guarantees the full functionality of all the equipment and systems that enable traffic regulation and control on the state highways managed by these centers, ensuring that the Installations are always in perfect working order.

The service covers the Southeast (Malaga), Northwest-Cantabrian (A Coruña), North (Valladolid), Pyrenees-Ebro Valley (Zaragoza), Balearic Islands (Palma de Mallorca), Central Zone (Madrid), Southwest (Seville) and Levante (Valencia) CGTs, together with their associated sub-centers.

The work includes preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, renovation and updating of obsolete systems, support for the management of road incidents, dissemination of real-time traffic information and preparation of mobility reports.

The contract is structured in three coordinated support levels that guarantee immediate response times to any incident. The first level provides diagnosis and permanent attention with a maximum response time of 30 minutes from the moment of notification.

The second level is responsible for specialized technical intervention on equipment, while the third level provides advanced support for more complex operations.

This multilevel organization ensures the continuous operability of traffic management systems throughout the state network, minimizing service interruptions and maintaining the quality of information provided to road users.
