Technical Study of Urban Transport in Vigo

With the aim of improving urban transportation in Vigo, the Concellería de Fomento e Servizos of the Concello de Vigo has awarded to CPS in Joint Venture, the contract for the execution of a integral technical study on the demand for collective urban transport in the field of sustainable urban mobility. in the field of sustainable urban mobility.

This study seeks to provide a detailed overview of the current transport service situation in Vigo and to develop proposals to optimize the urban public transport network.

The study will cover a wide range of aspects, from surveying the population to the creation of a simulation model of Vigo’s traffic, with the aim of establishing the basis for the renewal of the public transport service in 2025 and estimating future demands in the medium and long term.
