Multimodal Freight Transport Model of Catalonia

CPS in a joint venture, will carry out for the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya the drafting of the Multimodal Freight Transport Model of Catalonia. The main objective of the model is to contribute to the sustainable development y economic of Catalonia by integrating different modes of transportation and promoting the innovation in logistics planning.

This model is considered strategic for the Generalitat, as it will contribute to key objectives for regional development, such as strengthening the ports of Barcelona and Tarragona, improving the mobility of goods through rail transport and complying with European directives on the management of heavy vehicles.
