Integral Rehabilitation of the Zapadores Police Complex

CPS continues with the supervision works of the integral rehabilitation project of the Zapadores Police Complex in Valencia. Following the approval of the Heritage Report requested by the Valencia City Council, the structure of the parking lot and the archive building, both of which were newly constructed, have been completed. Currently, work has begun on Building 01, located on Zapadores Street, which requires a complete renovation, involving the demolition of the entire existing interior.
On the other hand, many of the pavements will be preserved, such as the Nolla ceramics, due to their value as Valencian historical heritage. In addition, the false ceilings will be replicated in many of the rooms, maintaining their original design.
The Zapadores complex has buildings dating from 1921-1924, with environmental and landscape values and typological characteristics typical of the period. It has a total area of 34,847 m² and consists of eight buildings. The total built-up area of the complex is 18,853 m².
