Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Strategy of the Canary Islands (EMSICAN)

CPS in UTE, will carry out for the Government of the Canary Islands the Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Strategy of the Canary Islands (EMSICAN), which seeks to transform mobility in the Canary Islands by aligning it with the objectives of the European Green Pact, the UN Agenda 2030 and the Safe, Sustainable and Connected Mobility Strategy, promoted by the Ministry of Mobility, Transport and Urban Agenda of the Government of Spain.

The EMSICAN will cover all modes of transport (land, sea and air) and contemplates key measures such as the digitalization of transport, the reduction of polluting emissions, the promotion of sustainable fuels and the commitment to multimodal and intelligent mobility. In addition, it will take into account the particularities of the Canary Islands territory, dividing its scope into intra-island, inter-island and external mobility.
