Low Emission Zones (LEZ) are areas within cities where access to polluting vehicles is restricted. These zones, already implemented in many European cities, have shown their effectiveness in reducing traffic, but have also been shown to improve air quality, care for people’s health and move towards a more sustainable urban model.
