Castelló Tram Phase 1 informative study and construction project.

CPS will be in charge of drafting the Informative Study of the “Bulevar de la Plana – Tram de Castelló” (Section: Castelló de la Plana – Almassora – Vila-real), as well as the Construction Project of Phase 1.

This project is part of the public transport plans in the main urban agglomerations of the Valencian Community, betting on modern, sustainable and efficient infrastructures . Thus developing a network of platforms reserved for public transport within the “Transport Plan of Castellón and its surroundings”, which covers a metropolitan area of almost 20 km long and 8 km wide.

With them it is proposed to:
● Connect Castellón with Benicàssim in a first axis.
● Connect Castellón with Almassora and Vila-real in a second axis.

The objective is to optimize the mobility system and adapt it to the real needs of citizens, improving the quality of the service and making it more attractive, efficient and sustainable.

The work program foresees a total period of 36 months:
● 24 months for the drafting of the Informative Study.
● 12 months for the drafting of the Phase 1 Construction Project.

With this new challenge, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable and efficient urban mobility for the cities around us.
