The Benidorm City Council takes another step towards sustainable mobility and CPS will be in charge of leading the review and update of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS).

The project envisages the integration of all action plans approved between 2016 and 2022, along with new measures that promote the use of sustainable transport and the implementation of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ). CPS will be responsible for collecting and analyzing all available information, from mobility surveys to municipal inventories, to get a complete picture of the current state of the city.

One of the key points of the work will be the analysis and diagnosis of mobility, with traffic models and simulations to anticipate the effects of each measure. In addition, an action program will be developed to prioritize and schedule the most effective actions, including budget estimates and a monitoring plan to ensure proper implementation. CPS will also encourage citizen participation, ensuring that they can contribute their vision and be an active part of the change.

Finally, the company will manage the environmental processing and final approval of the SUMP, ensuring that the plan complies with all legal and environmental requirements.
