CPS Colombia participates in the International Congress TransMilenio 25 Years in Bogota

CPS Colombia was present at the International Congress TransMilenio 25 Years, held at the Agora Convention Center in Bogota . The meeting brought together more than 1,000 people from 36 countries, with the aim of analyzing the present and future of sustainable urban mobility.

The agenda combined panels and conferences with technical visits to TransMilenio‘s operation and infrastructure. Our CPS Colombia team participated in three of these visits: the Installations of Green Movil, operator of Zones III and IV in Fontibón with 406 electric buses assembled in Colombia, where a pilot test is being developed with the first hydrogen bus of the system; the portal of Avenida El Dorado; and the TransMilenio Control Center.

We are grateful to TransMilenio for the opportunity to learn first-hand about its operation and infrastructure. With 25 years of experience, Transmilenio is one of the international benchmarks of public mass transit, and direct access to its Installations and the congress debates enriched our team’s vision of urban mobility in the region.
