Completion of the humanization works of the N-332 in Sueca (Valencia)

Last Wednesday was opened to traffic the crossing of the N-332 road as it passes through the municipality of Sueca (Valencia), where CPS carried out the Consulting and Technical Assistance for the Control and Surveillance of the works.

The humanization works, promoted by the Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and financed with 4.32 million euros from the European funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan(NextGenerationEU), have transformed nearly five kilometers of national road into an integrated urban axis adapted to active mobility.

Throughout the entire execution, CPS provided technical assistance in the monitoring and control of the works. Among the supervised actions were the construction of a bicycle lane, the widening of sidewalks, the replacement of intersections with traffic circles, the reduction of lane widths, the installation of a semi-blockable median, the rehabilitation of the road surface with sound-absorbing features, the implementation of raised crosswalks and the renovation of the lighting using LED technology.

The result is a road that ceases to act as a barrier within the municipality and becomes an accessible and safe urban axis for pedestrians and cyclists.
