Pavement Repair by Cold Recycling on the N-232 Highway

During the last week of July 2022, as part of the activities of the Technical Assistance for the Control and Surveillance of the Emergency Works of Borrasca Celia, the repair of the road surface between Pk 59+000 and Pk 62+400 of the N-232 road in the municipality of Morella has been carried out. This action has been characterized by cold recycling of the pavement, drastically reducing the execution time and the environmental impact of the work compared to traditional pavement repair methods.

It is estimated that, in total, the _CO2 emissions have been reduced by 36,89%. During the works, a technical visit was made by technicians from the Technical Directorate of MITMA and the Road Demarcations of the Valencian Community and Aragon, together with technicians from the Generalitat Valenciana and the Diputación de Castellón.
