Award of construction management and health and safety coordination of the work of adaptation of the cantilever beam of pier 11 of the port of Alicante.

CPS INFRAESTRUCTURAS in a joint venture with the company INGEOMAR have been awarded with the Work Management and Health and Safety Coordination of the work “Adequacy of the cantilever beam of pier 11 of the port of Alicante” whose promoter is the Port Authority of Alicante with a construction period of 5 months.

The works to be defined include the superstructure of pier 11 in a length of 345 m and 7.40 m wide from the quay, making the heightening of the quay beam every 20 m of quay in the area where the fenders are located, with dimensions in plan of 5 m long in the quay direction and 1.40 m wide. With this action, the berthing line is moved forward to ensure a minimum 1-meter protection between the bottom and the hull of the vessel. The dredging of the berthing front will also be carried out up to 11.0 m elevation.
