Approval of the new Metropolitan Transport Plan of the Granada Area

The Governing Council of the Regional Government of Andalusia has approved the Metropolitan Transport Plan for the Granada Area (PTMAGR), prepared by CPS.
The initiative seeks to increase the use of public transportation, reduce polluting emissions and encourage walking and cycling. It also aims to reduce dependence on private vehicles, thus improving the quality of life of more than 596,000 people.
It is expected to incorporate 65% of the province’s municipalities, working together to design strategies that facilitate and encourage sustainable travel. The project contemplates the creation of company routes and shuttle services, the promotion of car sharing, the promotion of public transport and pedestrian and cycling routes, as well as deterrent parking policies and time flexibility measures linked to mobility. Our team is proud to be part of this commitment to a new mobility model that prioritizes people, the environment and the future.
