CPS Peru begins supervision of the installation of drinking water and sewage systems in the town of Marcona
Last December, the Consortium led by CPS Sucursal Peru, was awarded the supervision of the work “Installation of drinking water and sewage systems in the town of Marcona, district of Marcona-Nazca-Ica”, for the National Urban Sanitation Program of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation of Peru.
The project includes the construction and equipping of two deep wells, the installation of three impulsion lines of approximately 15 kilometers, the installation of a 25-kilometer pipeline, a 1,200 m3 reservoir and the construction of a wastewater treatment plant that will produce qualified water for use in reforestation projects by the District Municipality of Marcona.
This important intervention will improve the living conditions of the population of the central area, industrial zone, human settlements and young towns of the city of Marcona, increasing the coverage of drinking water services without restrictions, and reducing the incidence of diseases caused by the lack of adequate sanitation in the localities.
