CPS Peru reaffirms its commitment to equality on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, our CPS Peru team participated in different activities aimed at promoting equality, preventing violence and strengthening the commitment to safe and inclusive work environments.
Our team attended the Conference-Workshop “I work without violence”, organized by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations – MIMP and ESAN University, aimed at strengthening institutional capacities to prevent and act against sexual harassment in the workplace. We also participated in the presentation of the commemorative agenda for International Women’s Day, held at the Mario Vargas Llosa Auditorium Theater of the National Library of Peru, and in the event “Women consolidating roads for women”, an activity to recognize the volunteers of the National Warmi Ñan Program who collaborate with the MIMP in the prevention of violence, held at the same venue.
In addition, the team organized two activities of its own: an awareness-raising talk on equality and the fight against violence against women in the district of Rimac, the site of our project to supervise the health establishment Villa Los Angeles, with participatory workshops and handing out of informative materials; and an internal day in our offices, where we talked about the value and role of women within the organization.
With these activities we reaffirm our recognition as a “Safe Company, Free of Violence and Discrimination against Women”, granted by the MIMP, a seal that reflects our commitment to building workplaces free of violence and discrimination, where everyone can develop under equal conditions.
