Integrated System for the Efficient Maintenance of Urban Pavements (SIMEPU)

Since September 2018, the UPV, PAVASAL and CPS have been collaboratively developing the SIMEPU project, belonging to the 2017 Challenges-Collaboration call, whose objective is to design an innovative low-cost system for the efficient management of urban pavement maintenance.

The project“INTEGRAL SYSTEM FOR EFFICIENT URBAN PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE” (RTC-2017-6148-7) has as its main objective to design an innovative low-cost system for the efficient management of urban pavement maintenance. This innovative product will allow automatic monitoring and evaluation of pavement pathologies based on images, while optimizing and prioritizing maintenance actions under economic, social and environmental conditions.

This project has been funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities – State Research Agency through the 2017 Challenges-Collaboration call and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with the aim of promoting technological development, innovation and quality research.
