Low Emission Zone Talavera de la Reina

The Climate Change Law establishes that municipalities with 50,000 or more inhabitants and provincial capitals must implement Low Emission Zones (LEZ) by 2023. In this context, CPS is carrying out the development of a ZBE that will benefit the more than 80,000 inhabitants of the municipality of Talavera de la Reina.

The ZBE

The ZBE proposes to restrict access, circulation and parking of vehicles to reduce polluting emissions. The scope of the ZBE will be the historic center, delimited by structuring road axes, with an area of 0.625 ^km2 that will have a total of 27 access control points.
