Management and supervision of the new Alberto Tortajada Special Education School (Valencia).

CPS in UTE continues with the management and supervision of the works of the new Special Education School (CEE) Alberto Tortajada, in Algemesí (Valencia), included in the Pla Edificant of the Conselleria d’Educació (Generalitat Valenciana).

Currently, the work is in the process of building facades with masonry enclosures plus SATE cladding, interior enclosures with PYL partition walls, carpentry, electrical installations, sanitation, fire protection, ventilation and air conditioning. The entire school is located on the first floor, raising its elevation to avoid possible flooding problems, this elevation is saved by accessible ramps to ensure accessibility throughout the school.

This building will meet the Passivhaus standard, which requires that its entire envelope be completely airtight, with continuous insulation throughout the envelope, even under the foundation slab. Once the center obtains Passivhaus certification, it will become the first Special Education School in Spain to achieve this recognition.
