Our history
CPS was founded in 1988 by Jose Manuel López Litawith the participation of Grupo Etra Consultoría de Ingeniería de Obra Civil.
José Manuel López Lita was Head of Service of the Department of Circulation and Transport of the City Council of Valencia between 1981 and 1988, precursor of the first pedestrian zones and the first bicycle lanes in the city of Valencia.
During his more than 40-year career, he not only made CPS prosper, turning it into an international company, diversifying its services and growing its workforce exponentially year after year, but he was also part of the engineering sector of the Valencian Communitybeing president of AVINCO (Valencian Association of Consulting Engineers) between 2005 and 2012 and member of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, as well as FEVEC. He was also a member of the board of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos.
After his passing in 2017, the management of the company passed into the hands of the second generation, who have continued his legacy, modernized the company and ensured that its growth remains exponential and sustainable.
