Technical Support to the Road Safety Service of the Provincial Council of Valencia
CPS carries out the elaboration and development of the Annual Road Safety Programs of the Infrastructure Area of the Provincial Council of Valencia in order to carry out works and activities necessary for the technical support to the integral management of road safety.
The objectives and actions of the project are based on the Road Safety Strategy of the Directorate General of Traffic and, based on a diagnosis of the road safety problems of the network, through an exhaustive analysis of the accident rate and the collection of traffic on its roads, proposals are made for actions that will lead to a reduction in accident rates.
The technical support includes the identification and study of Accident Concentration Sections, the inspection and analysis of all fatal accidents occurring in the network, the performance of Road Safety Inspections and Audits and the computer support in the maintenance, development of new applications and updating of the accident database of the roads of the Diputación de Valencia.
