Repair and reconstruction of the sewerage system in La Torre, Valencia, Spain

CPS in UTE, has been awarded Lot 1 of the project for the repair and reconstruction of infrastructures affected by the DANA in the districts of Valencia, being in charge of the district of La Torre. The work seeks to restore the essential services damaged by the extreme rains that occurred in October 2024.

The project includes the repair and comprehensive reconstruction of the sewerage network, with more than 30 km of damaged pipelines that will be replaced and adapted to current regulations. In addition, separate wastewater and rainwater networks, control elements such as storm tanks and pumping stations, and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) will be incorporated to manage rainwater efficiently and sustainably.

The project also includes the redevelopment of the affected streets, following criteria of universal accessibility, sustainable mobility and landscape integration. This includes paving, signage, street furniture, landscaping and lighting, ensuring that the district recovers its functionality completely and safely.
