SIMEPU, Award for Innovation in Roads

The project “Sistema integral para el mantenimiento eficiente de pavimentos urbanos (SIMEPU)” has won the eighth edition of the “Premio Internacional a la Innovación en Carreteras Juan Antonio Fernández del Campo”, awarded by the Spanish Road Association.

SIMEPU, whose authorship is shared by Eugenio Pellicer and Roberto Paredes, from the School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Juan Sánchez-Robles, from CPS Infraestructuras Movilidad y Medio Ambiente, and Jesús Felipo from Pavasal Empresa Constructora, aims to design an innovative, low-cost system for the efficient management of urban pavement maintenance and has won the eighth edition of the competition.
