The new barracks has been designed under criteria of functionality, efficiency and sustainability, complying with the standards of Nearly Zero Energy Consumption Buildings (EECN). The police station has a built area of more than 1,800 m², distributed in basement, first floor, second floor and roof, and is integrated in a secure enclosure with control and video surveillance systems.

The building is fully accessible and has been designed to meet both current needs and future service expansions.

From the environmental point of view, the project incorporates energy efficiency solutions, individualized air conditioning, environmental monitoring systems, photovoltaic panels and a landscape design based on native species with low water consumption. Certified by Green Building Council Spainthe building has obtained the VERDE Certificate, Silver level, evaluating the sustainability of the building.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska; the Director General of the Civil Guard, Mercedes González; the Government Delegate in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón; the President of SIEPSE, Sofía Hernanz; and the Mayor of Caudete, José Miguel Mollá, among other authorities.

From CPS we thank SIEPSE for the trust placed in our team to participate in this project, sharing a common vision oriented to the continuous improvement of sustainability, efficiency and quality in public building.
