Workshop methodology international road assessment programme (IRAP) and quality check

CPS has participated in a workshop on the methodology of the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) organization, at the headquarters of the Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT), held in the city of Madrid in January 2019.

This methodology allows for star rating of roads and has been identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a tool used to set targets for improving infrastructure safety within the framework of road safety policies.

In recent months CPS has been collaborating with the RACC Foundation in different stages of the implementation of this methodology in a total of 927 km in the highway network of Spain, France, Holland and Italy.
