Project for the Digitalization of Mobility Data Collection, Processing and Fusion for Transportation Systems Modeling and Planning.

CPS is developing the project ” Digitalization of the Collection, Processing and Fusion of Mobility Data for the Modeling and Planning of Transport Systems“, within the framework of the ERDF Operational Program of the Valencian Community 2021/2027.

The project financed by the Instituto Valenciano de la Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) (Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness) and co-financed by the; European Unionconsists of the implementation and start-up of an innovative solution aimed at digitalizing the process of obtaining GPS data from mobile terminals stored in Cloud platforms, such as the Kido Dynamics smart destinations tool. These data are processed using proprietary tools and algorithms that allow the integration and fusion of this information with that obtained from other sources.

This information, once transformed, serves as input for the preparation of transport simulation models (R, Python, Visum). These models allow the analysis and evaluation of alternatives and thus support the decision-making process.
