Centralized and Integrated System for Mobility Management in El Salvador

CPS, in consortium, continues with the supervision of the El Salvador Mobility Management System (SIGEMOV) that the Government of El Salvador is implementing with the Road Conservation Fund (FOVIAL) and the Ministry of Public Works (MOP). The project aims to modernize and centralize 350 signalized intersections and integrate 50 new intersections.
In addition, safe crosswalks will be installed, which will also have crossings for people with reduced mobility. A photo detection system for violators, a dynamic weighing system and variable messaging panels will be installed.
This entire system will be managed from a single integrated control center, whose implementation, together with that of the communications network, is also part of the tasks entrusted. The project comprises five stages: design, supply, installation, commissioning and technology transfer; to date, the first three stages have been completed.
CPS is proud to oversee this great project, which will help improve the standard of living of Salvadoran citizens.
