CPS attends presentation of the Integrated Mobility Data Space Strategy

Last Tuesday, CPS attended the presentation of the Strategy of the Integrated Mobility Data Space (EDIM)with which the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration promote the creation of the public platform of reference to centralize, standardize and share mobility data in Spain.
The meeting demonstrated the sector’s firm commitment to a strategic initiative for the future of mobility. The importance of ensuring quality, interoperability and the generation of value from data was highlighted during the event. In this context, the definition of use cases is fundamental, as they constitute the bridge between strategy and its practical application and generate a real impact for citizens, companies and administrations.
From CPS, based on our experience as leaders in the definition of more than 15 use cases in the framework of the Data Space 4 Mobility Models project -including areas such as traffic management, public transport, freight transport and environmental impact-, we enthusiastically join this initiative and the next steps for its development and consolidation.
We would especially like to acknowledge the work of Sara Hernández Olmo, María González Veracruz, Tania Gullón Muñoz-Repiso, Cristina Blasco Latorre, Ander Caneda Jorge, Antonio Alcolea Muñoz, Lucía Martínez Riveiro and Ana Palacios and all the teams involved for their drive, dedication and effort to make this initiative a reality. Their leadership and commitment are laying the foundations for an open, interoperable and value-generating mobility data ecosystem for the entire sector.
Its collaborative nature will undoubtedly be one of the key factors for the success of EDIM.
