Gonzalo López, CEO of CPS, talks about innovation, talent and the future of engineering.
CPS has been designing engineering and architectural projects in Spain and abroad for more than 35 years. But an established company can also reinvent itself. That is precisely what our CEO, Gonzalo López, explains in this interview with CEEI Valencia: how CPS is working on automating its BIM processes using artificial intelligence, what that means for the company and why innovation is not just a startup thing.
In the conversation, Gonzalo also talks about the sector’s most urgent challenges: attracting technical talent, integrating disciplines that until recently worked separately and moving from standing out for technical capacity to providing measurable strategic value for clients.
The BIM automation project with AI was born out of a real need: projects are becoming more complex, deadlines tighter and coordination more demanding. Automating repetitive tasks in BIM reduces errors and frees up team time for what really matters.
