Integral reform of the Faculty of Statistics at the Complutense University of Madrid.

CPS, in joint venture, within the framework agreement with the Complutense University of Madrid, carries out the integral reform of the Aulario building and the Pensamiento building of the Faculty of Statistics, designed by the architect Miguel Fisac Serna in 1952.

The main objective of the rehabilitation is to adapt the Faculty of Statistics, distributed in a main building with several pavilions, to its teaching activity with a view to the future.

The project consists of restoring the Aulario building from its previous use as a nursery to its original use, with the particularity that the two large fan-shaped spaces that will be generated, one will be a Lecture Hall and the other a Graduation Hall. Finally, the adjoining “Pensamiento” building, with a rectangular floor plan, will be used for offices as defined by the faculty during the design phase.

It should be noted that the building is listed as Protection Level “1”, Grade “Integral” . On the other hand, all the works will be carried out using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology.
