Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in the Urban Environment
CPS has developed a wide variety of projects related to the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in urban areas, improving the mobility of private vehicles and public transport, as well as the safety of municipalities.
Video Surveillance and Advanced Video Analytics
CPS has developed advanced video surveillance projects for different municipalities, including the study and definition of all the necessary technological systems:
- Cameras with integrated video analytics.
- Study and analysis of camera coverage using specialized software.
- Obtaining vehicular and pedestrian mobility data by means of artificial vision.
- Video analytics platforms to facilitate police tasks.
- Control Room Design.
- Fiber optic and wireless communication network, as well as auxiliary civil works.
Traffic Light Regulation and Signaling
CPS carried out the definition of the technological project for the implementation of access control to the residential priority area of the city of Valencia. The system allows the detection and management of unauthorized vehicle access and the processing of the infraction report for non-compliance with the Traffic Ordinance of the Valencia City Council. The system included:
- Intersection traffic signalization study.
- Centralized traffic light regulation system.
- Adaptive algorithms
- Intelligent pedestrian crossings.
- Vehicle priority systems for public transportation and emergency vehicles.
- Variable signage for user information.
- Photo-red audit system
- Control Center for Integrated System Management
