Presentation of Peru’s National Transportation Logistics Infrastructure and Services Plan

Last May, Peru’s Minister of Transport and Communications, Paola Lazarte, officially presented the National Transportation Services and Logistics Infrastructure Plan 2032, which was developed by CPS, in consortium.
The main objective of the plan is to provide a detailed description of the needs and opportunities for logistics development in the country, as well as to identify the necessary investments in the short, medium and long term. It also seeks to improve current logistics operations, enhance connectivity and the competitiveness of regional logistics chains and foreign trade, all with the aim of boosting the productive growth of the Peruvian economy.
The implementation of this plan will have a significant impact on the country’s competitiveness and logistics performance. It will focus on structuring a network of strategic nodes and strengthening logistics and feeder corridors at the regional and national levels. With the implementation of this plan, Peru is expected to consolidate its position as a regional logistics benchmark.
