Reconstruction work on the provincial road network: Bétera-Serra Demarcation

The DANA of October 2024 caused great damage to the provincial road network of the Bétera-Serra demarcation. Faced with this emergency, the Provincial Council of Valencia relied on CPS to assume the management of works, health and safety coordination, and drafting of the necessary technical studies to restore the service and safety conditions on the affected roads.
During 14 months, our team supervised the comprehensive rehabilitation of critical infrastructures, including the Serra bridge, the improvement of protections on the CV-374, the reconstruction of drainage works and irrigation ditches in the surroundings of the Albufera Natural Park, and the recovery of the road surface of the AVE bridge on the CV-413, together with the restoration of margins and slopes.
The works covered key roads such as CV-374, CV-401, CV-413, CV-370, CV-336 and CV-372, essential for access to basic services, the transport of goods and the daily movements of thousands of users. The intervention has made it possible to restore the functional continuity of these roads and to recover the safety levels prior to the DANA.
We appreciate the trust placed in our organization by the Diputació de València in this reconstruction project.
