Regulatory Plan for Roads in Huancayo, Peru

CPS Peru will be responsible for the preparation of the Road Regulatory Plan (PRR) in the city of Huancayo, a project financed by the Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications and supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
The PRR aims to restructure the urban public transportation system, contributing to reducing congestion, improving road safety and strengthening the governance of the city’s bus system.
The project contemplates the design of a simplified public transportation model, as well as the development of a roadmap aimed at optimizing the management and coordination of the system, in line with international best practices. This planning will lay the groundwork for the future implementation of an efficient Bus Management System (BMS).

This plan will improve traffic flow and organization, reduce environmental impact, and improve the quality and safety of travel.
