Prevent to Protect
CPS Peru has the “Safe Company, Free of Violence and Discrimination against Women” Certification Mark, a recognition granted by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP).
Sexual violence against children and adolescents affects all social classes and educational levels, causing profound harm to the victims. This type of violence not only generates physical and psychological consequences, but also leaves lasting traces in the personal development and interpersonal relationships of the victims, affecting their long-term well-being.
Faced with this serious problem, the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations has implemented the “Prevent to Protect” initiative, which focuses on the prevention of sexual violence against children and adolescents.
The “Prevent to Protect” initiative aims to carry out comprehensive, coordinated and effective interventions to prevent sexual violence in the socialization and coexistence environments of children and adolescents, fostering a proactive attitude in the population to prevent this type of violence.
