As part of the tasks, CPS will develop the project and project management in order to make a comprehensive rehabilitation, fully enabling the Pavilion 8 and part of Pavilion 7, in addition to its urban environment in order to move the current Faculty of Optics and Optometry currently located outside the Campus, in the district of San Blas, Madrid.

The pavilions where the work will be carried out are part of the medical area of the UCM and are located on the southeast side of a set of 8 connected pavilions and a central building. Pavilion 8 has a first floor and five upper floors, plus an attic with limited height.

In addition, attached to its north façade is a building with a first floor and three upper floors. It communicates with the rest of the building at the southwest corner, connected to the body of the building between Pavilions 7 and 8. The main entrance is on the south façade. Pavilion 7 has a ground floor where the facilities are located, and the work will be carried out on the ground, first and second floors. This pavilion communicates with the rest of the building through its first and second floors.
